Most young men are advised to carry with them a contraceptive sheath. This is because they can never be sure whether their partners have any sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Thus, to avoid risk of pregnancy as well as STD, use of sheath or condom is recommended.

As far as females are concerned, they too need to be secure. This refers to the two ways in which they need to be secure including protection against becoming pregnant as well as protection against STDs.
