- Consume fruits and vegetables in greater quantities.
- Consume boiled and grilled fishes and chicken breasts (without skin).
- Consume smaller pieces of lean pieces of beef, lamb etc.
- Consume various foods that are rich in fiber (oats, bran bread, etc.)
- Do not eat fried foods.
Sticking to a good diet that reduces cholesterol gaining substances is important, even if one is not taking medication. Exercise and medication together can greatly help you in controlling and lowering your high cholesterol levels.
