Dandruff is the loose shedding of the
skin from the scalp area that is left in the
hair. The skin sheds its dead cells once in
every 24 hours.
Dandruff is a condition in which
there are traces of white or gray particles
that can be visible in the hair, neck or shoulders.
The symptoms of this are usually the white and
gray particles that appear on the head and that
the scalp becomes itchy.

Dandruff is sure to become more and more
severe when the weather is cold and milder when
it is hot. High usage of gels and sprays; wearing
caps and scarves that are too tight for the
head; using electric curlers on your hair and
not following hair color instructions properly;
it could also be due to the reason of stress,
anxiety & tension.
The symptoms of this usually are that there
are gray spots on the hair and shoulders and
the scalp would become dry and itchy. The scalp
can also become extremely dry or oily.
Treatments Of Dandruff
The treatment of this is usually carried
out by using anti dandruff shampoo. An individual
may have to try out some of the many shampoos
that are available by manufacturers that are
available in the market.
The one that works best for you should be used
regularly. The treatment of this should be repeated
twice while washing your hair and should be
used four times a week.
While applying the medicated shampoo one should
rub the scalp, not too hard that you damage
the scalp, to rub all the dead cells off; when
you are shampooing your hair for the second
time it should be kept on for at least five
minutes so that the shampoo can have its effect
