Due to unhealthy lifestyles and eating habits, women are also vulnerable to diseases like heart complications and angina. - High cholesterol as well as high blood pressure and diabetes are serious factors for angina problems and obesity is the common agent among these things.
How to Manage Angina in Women
Angina can be managed and controlled at any stage with care and proper medication and a change of lifestyle. These changes include:
- Taking aspirin to regulate the flow of blood.
- Regular exercise. Most of the women, who stay at home or work in offices, do not go for regular exercise or any physical activity. This can lead to blockage of arteries and other problems like angina.
- Taking calcium channel blockers to avoid deposits of fat in walls of arteries.
- Eating foods that are nutritious and avoid fatty foods. Women need to eat a healthy diet more as they pass through phases like menstruation and childbirth. Good health can help them keep angina at bay.
- Avoiding stress. Women are more likely to take stress on matters concerning home and family that make them vulnerable to angina problems. Controlling stress can help in managing their angina.
The number of women suffering from angina is increasing. To avoid and manage angina it is necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle and eating habits. Angina problems in women can be avoided if the factors that cause angina are controlled and managed. |
